WE6FE SHIRT'S NUMBERS ATTRIBUTES by wetigre

We're going to explain you how to modify the shirt's numbers attributes (color, kind..) in Winning Eleven 6 FE.

What you need :
1. Hex Workshop 4.0 or similar
2. File Parameter.ovl to modify
3. PS2 ready with any version of WE6FE
4. File Parameter.ovl of the WE6FE version you have in the PS2
5. Record Plan of MLeague teams (you find it below)
6. PRECISION AND PATIENCE !!!!!

---- P R O C E D U R E ----

1. Open the fileParameter.ovl to modify with HexWorkshop (HW)

2. Locate the team you want to modify in the file Parameter.ovl to modify (convert in hexadecimal the team name with Codici.exe or similar, copy the generated hex string, with HW type Ctrl + F - Find - and paste the copied string in the appropriate space). Once you find the team, go on the first byte (where starts the first letter of the team) and stop.

3. Now locate, with the game editor, the team with the combination of shirt's numbers attributes (color, kind, number on the pants..), you could need some attempts. Once you located the team with your favorite characteristics (ONLY FOR THE SHIRT'S NUMBERS ATTRIBUTES!!!) write the name of the team on a paper.

4. Open the file Parameter.ovl of the version of WE6FE that you are running in the PS2 with HexWorkshop (HW)

5. Repeat the steps of the point 2. but this time using the name of the team you wrote on a paper at the point 3.

6. Now you need the Record Plan below. Here you can find the position and the contents of each byte a team is made of.

Ex. from the position 001 to 029 you find the first name of the team (the small one in the selection screen), from 30 to 58 you find the second name (the capital one), from 59 to 65 the abbreviation and so on.

The extremes of the positions are INCLUDED!! That is the NAME1 is made by 29 byte, the NAME2 in the same way and so on for all the others: if you mistake on counting the positions you may damage the whole file!

The positions we are interested in are the ones from 113 (included) to 122 (included) for the first shirt (Home) and the ones from 136 (included) to 145 (included) for the second shirt (Away).

7. Now you only have to place the cursor before the position 113 of the file Parameter.ovl of the version of WE6FE you have in the PS2 and select the successive 10 bytes and COPY (starting to count from 1 to 113 from the position in which you were placed at the point 3. of this Tutorial).

8. Proceed the same wat in the file Parameter.ovl to modify (starting to count from 1 to 113 from the position in which you were placed at the point 2. of this Tutorial).

Select the successive 10 bytes, do PASTE and that's all!! You took the characteristics of the shirt's numbers
of the team you choose from the PS2 and pasted them in the team you are interested in.

If the work looks good but you don't want the number on the pants and you haven't found the right combination in any of the original teams, you only have to place the cursor before the position 116 and change OFF the byte (that is to put 00 in that byte).

Be careful at the combination of bytes to assign the name style (in the WE6FE editor it is indicated by a number from 1 to 4); to obtain the corresponding value, ex. the type 4, you have to put 01 in the byte 119 and 01 in the byte 121.

9. You have to proceed the same way for the second shirt, this time you have to select the first 10 bytes starting with the position 136 (included).

Once you found the desired combination, I suggest you to write it somewhere with its characteristics. Ex. to edit the shirt's numbers I modified I defined the following combination:

71710200000100710101

What does it mean :

Number Color --> Black
Name Style --> 2
Number Style --> 2 (probably)
Numero on pants --> NO

This could be an archive of all the different combinations you'll do, if you will have to use it again it will be immediately ready.

The big problem is the number's colors of which we don't have a specified code: the only way are the attempts.

Winning Eleven 6 - Pro Evolution Soccer 2 (PSX,PS2,Gamecube)
[Image: winningeleven-pes-wikipedia-9.jpg]
